AW/15 TRENDS…

I know, I know, we’re only just starting to enjoy the late Summer in England but the world of Fashion doesn’t take notice of silly things such as heat waves and if Margate was hotter than Mykonos… So, what trends can we look forward to this Autumn/Winter and how can you go about getting the ‘looks’? I have chosen a few key trends and pieces to get you going…

1. CHECK YOU OUT

The classic check print is sticking around. Large check, Small check, gingham and everything in between are huge this season in both shirt and trouser forms.

2. BLOCK PARTY

Colour blocking never really goes out of fashion, as it is so easy to do. S/S sees pastel and neon shades but for A/W go for a warm colour palette: Burgundy and Emerald, Navy and Copper etc.

3. MILITARY

Now this trend can be a little tricky to pull off without looking like you’re off to an Action Man fancy dress party. For this, look no further then Olivier Rousteing’s work at BALMAIN – this trend is executed perfectly. The devil is in the details: Epaulettes, Studs and Leather are the key things to look out for.
