The White Company’s new uplifting scent ‘Fresh Fig’ is a delightful fusion of sweet fig, rich cassis and a dash of lilac…

I have tried many varieties of the fig fragrance kind over the years as it’s one of my absolute favourites. I’ve experimented with offerings from super expensive perfumeries to supermarket offerings. I’ve always been surprised how the scents can vary so much! Too sweet or too sour… The kind  folk over at The White Company were kind enough to let me test out the new Fresh Fig collection and it is as Goldilocks would say, “Just Right!”

It’s fruity highlights of cassis and lilac give a lightness to the fragrance whilst the Fig base is strong but not overpowering. It’s the right balance to make this the perfect scent for both men & women to use around the home. Several people have commented how I “Smell like a Summer holiday” since using the Body Lotion. Throughout winter I will continue to layer the lotion with a fragrance with a tobacco and wood base to really bring out the Fig and vetiver notes.

The candle has certainly been put through its pace, I’ve been burning it for a few hours each night. I love how smoothly the candles burn from The White Company and the perfume lingers for a good amount of time afterwards.
