PLACES TO GO… BRIGHTON

Thinking about a visit to Brighton for the first time or heading back again to explore further? Here are my top places to eat, drink and shop whilst you visit my favourite city (After my home town London, of course!) The best places are those recommended to you and aren’t on the tourist routes…

SHOP…

Workshop Living Brighton

WORKSHOP LIVING

I can never resist a visit to this beautifully curated store. With a real Scandi vibe, Workshop Living provides wonderful, practical products for around the home that you can’t find easily on the high street. Think glass jars, handmade soaps, linen towels and hand-crafted wicker baskets. I always go in with the intention to buy gifts for family and friends and always treat myself to something too! This is what Instagram interiors heaven looks like (It’s only polite to ask to take a picture first!)

Abode Brighton Store

ABODE

If you’re looking for unique home accessories, Adobe is the place to seek out. You’ll walk out with a list of ‘Must-Haves’ as long as your arm! Marbled candles, copper tea light holders, watercolour scatter cushions and more await you.

Quince Brighton Florist Antique Shop

QUINCE

Nestled away from the hustle and bustle lays Quince, one of the most beautiful shops I’ve ever seen – it’s like walking into The Secret Garden. Anna, founder of Quince, has a stunning variety of botanical beauties to choose from – you’ll find it hard to walk out with just one bunch! You can also find some great antiques and trinkets, go on… treat yourself on the way home. You deserve it.

EAT & DRINK…

Gelato Gusto Brighton

GELATO GUSTO

You’ve never quite tasted Gelato as gorgeous as this! Be sure to visit early or just before closing as queues can get rather large, snaking through the street. When those winter months hit you can also pop in for waffles and ice cream or the creamiest hot chocolate fix!

Plateau Brighton Wine Bar French

PLATEAU

This little gem is situated just off of the main shopping high street in Brighton. The wine list is one of the best I’ve come across and they have seasonal “Skin-contact” wines, which are a truly unique experience! If you’re feeling hungry, try some of the authentic French Dishes on the menu to whet your appetite. The team in Plateau are always such a delight and the ambience is relaxed as it is cosy.

Food For Friends Brighton Vegetarian Restaurant

FOOD FOR FRIENDS

Food for Friends is Brighton’s most-loved vegetarian restaurant in the historic South Lanes. Using the freshest produce and supporting local businesses where possible, the recipes are both unusual and familiar. Book your table now for a culinary treat!
