GET THE LONDON LOOK…

Maybe it’s because I’m a Londoner (no really, I am – born and raised) that this collection from Lyle and Scott resonates with me. Inspired by the great city, the brand has collaborated with the London Cloth Company to combine traditional techniques and modern design. They have worked together to create bespoke fabrics by using carefully restored shuttle looms dating from the 1870s.

The result? A beautifully constructed shirt and jacket in premium fabrications in a wonderful shade of indigo. I have a real soft spot for all things indigo and this collection sure delivers. I have the London Cloth work jacket which I wore during filming a national campaign for Intu shopping centres and received so many compliments and questions as to where it was from.

In addition to the London Cloth collab, Lyle and Scott have also introduced the ‘London Collection’ in which subtle branding ensures the collection blends perfectly when styled with other brands and is in tune with the modern gentleman looking for quality, timeless additions to add to his wardrobe. Placing focus on uncomplicated yet refined pieces that are designed to work with your lifestyle around the clock.

Check out my top picks below from the collection:

London Engineered Rib T-shirt I think that the textured detailing on this t-shirt is a great way to inject some interest into any outfit you wear it with.

Herringbone Tailored Shorts & Tailored Jacket Need I say more about summer season? A shorts suit is perfect for those formal events that take place on warm afternoons and evening. Trousers are also available, if you prefer something a little more traditional.
