I recently returned from a glorious two-week holiday in La Ciotat, in the south of France. My last proper holiday was a couple of years ago, so this was greatly needed to unwind and recharge my batteries. Being able to eat and drink whatever, whenever and not wakeup by the sound of an alarm was an absolute dream come true. Of course, the beautiful surroundings of the south of France also provided some great backdrops and photo opportunities which I will feature over the next couple of weeks – a blogger never truly takes a break!
I have always been drawn to the sea. There’s something so seductive about its danger and mystery whilst still being so beautiful.
We were lucky enough to be staying in an apartment that overlooked the sparkling sea. On our first evening we headed over to the beach for a sunset picnic and decided to take a few pictures as I was buzzing with inspiration. I wanted to do something that wasn’t the usual outfit post, quite predictable and a little too Abercrombie campaign, no?
The shorts featured are from luxury French brand, Robinson Les Bains who specialise in fashionable, elegant beachwear. The styles are designed by favouring comfort and high-quality fabrics with extra special attention to details. I love the zip pockets and gorgeous embroidered emblem logo on the leg – something rather royal looking to
Whilst at first they may seem like quite steep price to pay for swimwear, they truly are as comfortable as they are stylish making them the perfect shorts to invest in for your summer vacations. If that’s not enough, they are fully lined for support and I wore these a couple of times on my holiday other than at the beach; with a white t-shirt and plimsolls and also dressed up with a shirt and loafers. Oh, before any of you start thinking I have a penchant for skinny dipping… I was wearing another style of shorts when taking this photographs!
Just a helpful tip – size up by one or two sizes in the shorts as they come up a little snug!
