SUMMER MONOCHROME.

Monochrome is trans-seasonal – it looks effortlessly sharp and considered all whilst using only two shades: black and white. There’s a fine line to nailing monochrome as it could go one of two ways; Scandi chic or Addams Family couture, and quite frankly I’m more drawn to the Scandi chic look myself!

My must-have piece to nail monochrome: A dazzling white pair of low-top sneakers as they are versatile and so easy to wear.  The white upper and sole makes them a clean and effortless option, whatever the outfit you going for. The ones I am wearing a lot lately are the PHOENIX style from Kurt Geiger and I can tell already I’m going to wearing these bad boys quite a lot this Summer.

The second most important must-have? A statement piece to bring the outfit alive of course. Just because the look is muted in colour it doesn’t mean you can’t have a little fun with it too! My statement choice is the Rolla Shirt from ALLSAINTS for this particular outfit. I love the bold polka dot print with the occasional random love heart dotted throughout for a bit of visual interest.
