Like a spring clean of the house, March and April awakens my urge to reboot and refresh my grooming products. I’m quite the hoarder when it comes to grooming products and have tried and tested quite a few hair styling products in the last few years that I have been blogging. I thought it time to share some of my favourites that I have been using so that if you are looking for a new hair product to try, why not give one of these bad boys a go? There’s a star rating too, how Amazon of me!

Hanz de Fuko Pomade Styling hair care mens hairstyle grooming style blog blogger boy in breton

Hold: Hanz de Fuko ‘HEAVYMADE’ 4star

Heavymade is the most innovative pomade ever created offering exceptional, “heavy” hold with a light Eucalyptus scent.  It also allows the ability to re-shape and re-style the hair using slightly damp hands. I have been using the Heavymade pomade for the past couple of weeks and I have to say, it really is one of my favourite styling products that I’ve used in a very long time. I find sometimes they can be too oily which makes my hairstyle drop and look unclean or they can be too matte and my hair ends up looking flyaway! This is a great everyday product to use if you have thick hair and find it difficult to keep your hairstyle in place.

Bb. Gel Bumble and bumble sculpting Pomade Styling hair care mens hairstyle grooming style blog blogger boy in breton

Movement: Bumble and bumble ‘Bb. Gel’ 3star

This multi talented sculpting-gel is perfect for you if you want a bit of movement and definition from your hairstyle. Apply a small amount to your palms and work up accordingly to your requirement. Leave to dry and brush through for a softer, subtle-looking hold. I found the Bb. Gel perfect for those days I didn’t want to quiff my hair with a lot of hold but still wanted a bit of gentle movement and mild texture in my hair. It is a little bit sticky and gel-like (well, it does say it on the packaging) so be careful to only use a little when applying to your hair.

Daimon Barber Texture Pomade Styling hair care mens hairstyle grooming style blog blogger boy in breton

Texture: Daimon Barber ‘Texture Clay’ 4star

If you’re after texture first and foremost, the Texture Clay from Daimon Barber works perfectly for short, textured styles and longer, fuller looks.  Made from a blend of high quality clays, waxes and oils for a natural matte look. Not only does it feel great but this product also smells incredible too thanks to a blend of fig and frankincense.

Have you used any of these products? If so, which ones? Is there any hair product you recommend I give a go? Let me know by leaving a comment on this post or sending me a tweet @Boyinbreton
